Upcoming Stated Communication

Don’t forget that Tuesday, December 17 will be our 2nd stated communication of the month … and more importantly our open installation of officers for the ensuing year. Feel free to bring your families, friends, and neighbors as we applaud our outgoing officers for a job well done, and welcome our incoming officers for 2020.

What’s for dinner? Brother’s we are in for a treat! We’ll have Chili with cornbread and crackers along with fixins and Vanilla cake with chocolate frosting for dessert. Remember that dinner starts at 6 with the meeting starting at 7.

Upcoming Meeting

Tuesday, January 1st, we will be having our first stated communication of the year, and want to see you there. We’ll plan to:
  1. Learn about the Masonic Service Association, and the Our LodgePage app
  2. Discuss this Saturday’s Davie Academy event in Mt. Holly
  3. Our Upcoming Blood Drive on Jan 21
  4. Highlight some of this years plans
  5. And so much more …

What’s for dinner? Come in out of the cold and enjoy a traditional new year’s meal consisting of Chicken and noodles, black eyed peas, collard greens, cornbread and desserts. This amazing meal will begin at 6pm with our meeting starting at 7.

Lastly,stay safe on New Year’s eve, and make a new year’s resolution to show up to Cannon Memorial more often. Remember that you have brothers that miss seeing you at Lodge.

Upcoming Stated Meeting

This will be our first stated communication of February,with some incredible Masonic Education from a very special guest – the Junior Grand Deacon of NC Masons, WB Don Kehler. He will be speaking about budgets and finance. This is open to the public as well – so if you have a friend interested in joining – bring him along too.

We’ll also plan to discuss:
  1. this Saturday’s trip to the VA hospital
  2. receive 2 more petitions to join our Lodge
  3. discuss next week’s 1st degree
  4. scholarship updates
  5. and so much more

What’s for dinner? Our Junior Warden has been locked in the kitchen making his NC-famous Meatloaf, green beans, corn, salad, rolls and desserts. Dinner starts at 6, with the meeting beginning at 7. Make sure you bring your appetites along with $7 to cover the meal.

Amazing triple 3rd degree

After an amazing evening, that included an amazing triple 3rd Degree, we are honored to offer our congratulations to our 3 newest Master Masons, Brian Dixon, Larry Goodman, and Troy Schiedenhelm! It was a great night, filled with Masonic learnings and fun as we advanced our Fellow Craft in their Masonic Journey.

Many thanks go out to all of our Brothers that were in attendance for this phenomenal night. Special appreciation goes out to the Degree team of the 28th Masonic District, our District Deputy Grand Lecturer, and our outgoing District Deputy Grand Master for attending and assisting in this event one to remember!
